Pilot Position

SkyWest Airlines is seeking qualified candidates for pilot positions. This role involves assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting safe and efficient flights, ensuring prompt departures, and potentially manipulating flight controls during all phases of flight, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing. The candidate must be available to work any day, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
• Must hold an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.
• Must hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or possess legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
• Must possess a current Passport, or other travel documents enabling multiple re-entries into the U.S., and legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must be within three months of meeting the minimum hour requirements.
• Must meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

SkyWest will provide a SkyWest-approved CTP course for applicants who successfully complete the pilot interview. Helicopter and glider time may be considered toward total time, provided the applicant possesses a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command hours in fixed-wing aircraft.

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Must maintain a First Class Medical Certificate.
• Must be willing to fly assigned schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on pilot bidding seniority.
