SkyWest Airlines is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team of aviation professionals as pilots.
Position Overview:
The Pilot plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft. Working closely with the Pilot-in-Command, the Pilot assists in all aspects of flight operations, from pre-flight checks and passenger boarding to in-flight procedures and post-flight duties.
Responsibilities:
- Provide unwavering support to the Pilot-in-Command in conducting all phases of flight, maintaining the highest safety standards.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the Pilot-in-Command and passenger service personnel to ensure timely departures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in aircraft control manipulation, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing procedures, assisting or relieving the Pilot-in-Command as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Possess a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
- Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Maintain an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.
- Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
- Possess a current Passport or equivalent travel documentation permitting unrestricted entry and exit from the United States (multiple re-entry status).
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Be within three months of fulfilling the minimum flight hour requirements outlined by FAR 61.159.
- Demonstrate flexibility and availability to work varying schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Experience:
- Candidates with helicopter or glider flight experience are encouraged to apply. SkyWest acknowledges the transferable skills from these platforms and will consider such experience towards total flight time with a minimum of 250 PIC hours in fixed-wing aircraft.
- Applicants must meet the experience stipulated in FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

Physical Requirements:
