Executive Cabin Crew Business Technology Analyst

The Cabin Crew Division of Singapore Airlines seeks a highly motivated and analytical individual to join their Business Technology Department as an Executive Cabin Crew Business Technology Analyst. This pivotal role requires a proactive professional who will be instrumental in analyzing business requirements, defining specifications, and supporting the deployment of IT solutions aimed at boosting operational effectiveness and generating significant business value. The incumbent will engage with multidisciplinary teams to gather crucial insights, propose effective solutions, and guarantee the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Elicitation: The analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders to methodically extract, analyze, and meticulously document comprehensive business requirements.
  • Process Optimization: They will conduct thorough evaluations of current operational processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement through the strategic application of technology to drive efficiency gains.
  • Solution Development: In partnership with IT teams, the analyst will contribute to the design and proposal of innovative solutions that directly address identified business needs and challenges.
  • Documentation Excellence: The analyst will be responsible for producing clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, detailed process flows, and well-defined user stories.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: They will manage relationships with stakeholders across all organizational levels, facilitating effective communication regarding project progress, gathering feedback, and supporting informed decision-making.
  • Project Support: The analyst will actively contribute to various project management activities, including the planning, execution, and meticulous monitoring of project deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: They will support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure all solutions meet stringent business requirements and adhere to the highest quality standards.
  • User Enablement: The analyst will provide essential training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring the seamless adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Continuous Advancement: They will proactively stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices, recommending innovative improvements to further enhance business operations.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology or a related IT discipline is essential.
  • A minimum of one to three years of relevant work experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience with Agile methodologies, data digital platforms and ecosystems, and/or mobile application development would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including exceptional presentation skills, are crucial.
  • The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, capable of interacting and working effectively with technical teams, business users, and colleagues at all levels.
  • They must exhibit strong analytical, systematic, and logical problem-solving capabilities.
  • The ability to be a self-starter, result-oriented, and adept at multitasking is essential.
