Assistant Manager Cabin Crew Learning & Development
The successful candidate will join the Cabin Crew Learning & Development (CCLD) department within the Cabin Crew division, playing a pivotal role in the design, management, and delivery of high-quality training programs for aviation professionals. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in learning and development, eager to contribute to enhancing the skills and knowledge of the cabin crew team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage specialised training programs, including Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) qualifications and the Air Sommeliers Program.
- Oversee and manage the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) related training curriculum.
- Maintain the quality and manage the capacity of the Rank Trainers' portfolio to meet ongoing training requirements.
- Support the growth and development of in-house trainers through the management of upskilling initiatives and sponsorship programmes.
- Plan and facilitate regular engagement sessions for trainers to encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous development.
- Ensure Business Class Training modules are regularly reviewed and updated for relevance and learning effectiveness.
- Support the review and development of courseware, including contributing to storyboard creation and analysing learning results and data.
- Act as the custodian for Training Summits and Conferences organised for CCLD Rank Trainers, Senior Rank Trainers, and Line Instructors.
- Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned by department leadership.
Requirements:
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A university degree in any discipline.
- Relevant training-related qualifications (e.g., ACTA, ACLP, DACE, DDDLP).
- Experience in project management, including project planning and proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA.
- Experience in product management, including requirements gathering and quality assurance testing.
- Skills in data analysis; proficiency in data visualisation is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of learning and development methodologies.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital learning tools.
- Prior experience as cabin crew is considered advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a keen understanding of data and numbers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently.
