Job Description
The successful candidate will need to understand Air Navigation Act (ANR) regulatory rules and the rostered duty codes. In addition, the Associate must build up their knowledge of SQ aircraft equipment, crew complement requirements and crew’s operating patterns [COPs].
Key Responsibilities
Associate needs to be trained and be well versed with Crew Manager [CM] system which is primarily used for Crew Tracking. Control associate will update and manage crew rosters daily. Control staff will need to verify alerts in CM pertaining to ANR, rest, operational and flight recency etc, and took prompt actions to rectify the alerts to avoid any violations.

The key duties are updating of rosters due to medical leave and standby activation. Associate will monitor open pairings/COPs and ensure all SQ flights depart with full complement of crew through proper management of standby resources. To report the reason for any minus crew situation for all SQ flights.

To execute Load Based Variable Manning based on passenger loads and specific aircraft types. To create COP for standby activation as well as to create SNY COP for training crew (after office hrs/weekend/PH). In addition, to monitor the crew complement for VVIP & certain chartered Flights. To book tickets for positioning crew as required.

To submit daily APIS, APP and CTA to relevant Authorities at overseas stations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Resolve operational problems and handling crewing requirements arising from ad hoc flight delays and diversion, AOG, aircraft changes, flight re-timings and cancellations. Ensure all flights adhere to ANR regulatory rules on Flight Duty Period [FDP], Flight Time Limitations [FTL], minimum rest rules, and Collective Agreement.

To attend expeditiously and politely to crew requests such as medical leave, request for off-days, annual leave, compassionate leave, CSR day, flight requests due to flight recency. To handle crew resignation and deassignment of flight duties and training courses.

Associate needs to adhere to service, safety and quality processes at the Control Centre; step down of crew, loss of staff ID, safety shoes, work permits, passports, and Visa requirements etc.

To assist the implementation and enhancements to IT systems in Control Cente, such as Crew App, Crew Manager [CMX] and Notifications to Crew [CNC].

To assist the Duty Manager/Duty AO when there is a medical emergency with our crew members. To assist Crisis Management team in handling crisis as outlined in the Crisis Management Manual.

Any other duties as assigned by CC Senior Manager, CCE/AM and including Ops staff training.
Requirements

Possess a diploma in any discipline.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced and challenging environment by dealing with operational exigencies.
Control Centre Operations; 12 hours shift requirements
a) 0800 hours to 2000 hours and b) 2000 hours to next day 0800 hours
