Associate Cabin Crew Control Centre
Singapore Airlines is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Cabin Crew Control Centre team as an Associate.
Responsibilities:
The Associate Cabin Crew Control Centre plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Singapore Airlines' flight crew operations. This dynamic position demands a thorough understanding of aviation regulations, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Crew Roster Management:
- Update and manage crew rosters daily, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Air Navigation Act (ANR) regulations, rostered duty codes, and Collective Agreements.
- Monitor crew availability, including standby resources, to ensure all flights are fully staffed.
- Execute Load Based Variable Manning based on passenger loads and specific aircraft types.
- Create and manage crew operating patterns (COPs) for various operational needs, including standby activations and training flights.
- Manage crew requests for leave, off-days, and flight changes, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Submit daily reports to relevant authorities at overseas stations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Monitor and address alerts related to ANR, rest requirements, operational limitations, and flight recency to prevent violations.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of ANR regulations regarding Flight Duty Period (FDP), Flight Time Limitations (FTL), and minimum rest rules.
Operational Excellence:
- Resolve operational challenges and manage crewing requirements arising from flight delays, diversions, aircraft changes, re-timings, and cancellations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to crew inquiries and requests, providing exceptional customer service.
- Handle crew medical leaves, resignations, and deassignments efficiently and with discretion.
- Adhere to strict safety and security protocols, including managing lost staff IDs, ensuring proper uniform standards, and monitoring work permits, passports, and visa requirements.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
- Assist the Duty Manager and Crisis Management team in handling emergencies and critical incidents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth handovers and consistent service delivery.
- Participate in the implementation and enhancement of IT systems, including Crew App, Crew Manager (CMX), and Notifications to Crew (CNC).
Requirements:
- Diploma in any discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and applications.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (0800-2000 and 2000-0800).
