Global Express Captain - Silver Air
Silver Air is seeking an experienced and dedicated Captain to join our Global Express team. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled aviator with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. As a Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation of the aircraft, ensuring a seamless and luxurious travel experience for our discerning clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Analyze weather conditions, airport facilities, and route planning, including the designation of alternate airports.
- Operate the aircraft in strict adherence to Silver Air's policies, procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain the safety and security of all passengers, crew members, and the aircraft at all times.
- Diligently complete all required trip paperwork with accuracy and in line with established procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum total flight time of 3,500 hours, with 3,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- A minimum of 3,000 hours multi-engine flight time, with 2,000 hours as PIC.
- Preferred total turbine time of 1,750 hours.
- A minimum of 200 hours flight time on the BD700 or comparable aircraft, with 100 hours as PIC.
- Active BD700 type rating.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate (required).
- Previous Part 135 experience (preferred).
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0, pertaining to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of employees and clients.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the capacity to adapt to dynamic environments and changing priorities.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work on an on-call basis, perform well under pressure, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to contributing to the success of Silver Air and the satisfaction of our clients.
