Global Express Captain - Silver Air
Silver Air is searching for an experienced and dedicated Captain to join our Global Express team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and safety-conscious aviation professional with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to our discerning clientele.
Responsibilities:
The Global Express Captain will be entrusted with the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, ensuring all flights are conducted in accordance with the highest industry standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, verifying aircraft airworthiness and compliance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Analyzing weather conditions, airport facilities, and route planning, including the selection of appropriate alternate airports.
- Adhering to all Silver Air operational policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintaining constant vigilance for the safety and well-being of all passengers, crew members, and the aircraft.
- Diligently completing all required trip paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours minimum, with 3000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Multi-engine flight time: 3000 hours minimum, with 2000 hours as PIC.
- Turbine engine flight time: 1750 hours preferred.
- Flight time in similar aircraft type: 200 hours minimum, with 100 hours as PIC.
- Type rating on BD-700 or a comparable aircraft.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate (mandatory).
- Previous Part 135 experience (preferred).
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0 regarding international commercial air transport operations with multiple pilots.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to and from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, crew members, and all levels of the organization.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a high level of organization, adaptability, and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
- Superior time management skills, the ability to work under pressure, effectively multitask, and adhere to an on-call schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit, contributing positively to the team and exceeding client expectations.
