Pilot II - Airplane
Seminole Hard Rock Support Services seeks a qualified Pilot II to oversee all airplane operations for the Aviation Department, based in Davie, Florida. This role involves supervising, coordinating, and scheduling the work of Airplane Pilots while also performing administrative duties. The incumbent will operate aircraft to transport passengers to both domestic and international destinations. Maintenance testing and other missions may be assigned. This position reports to the Chief Airplane Pilot or designee and is an exempt role.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the Aviation Department, National Marketing, and Seminole HR Aviation Department.
- Ensure the safe conduct of domestic and international flights, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Perform thorough pre and post-flight inspections.
- Review weather conditions and NOTAMS for departure, en-route, alternate, and destination airports.
- Prepare and/or review flight plans, verifying aircraft performance parameters.
- Assess Flight Risk Assessments for each leg, determining appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS), identifying, reporting, and assisting in mitigating safety issues.
- Maintain aircraft cleanliness and readiness for each flight.
- Comply with schedules and directives governing aircraft operation and maintenance, working collaboratively with the Seminole Hard Rock Aviation Team.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers.
- Demonstrate flexibility with schedules, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and days, with the ability to prepare for flights on short notice.
- Service passengers in the absence of a flight attendant, prior to departure.
- Successfully complete required simulator and actual aircraft training.
- Demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service practices.
- Act in accordance with the Company’s Mission and Values.
- Report any observed illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time.
- Minimum 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Minimum 1,000 hours of total jet time.
- Minimum 500 hours total time in a G-280 or GIV aircraft.
- Type rating in G280 or GIV preferred, with 12 months of currency.
- FAA ATP Certificate required.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Accident-free history with a clean FAA record.
- Ability to work on an on-call basis.
- Primary residence within a one-hour drive from FLL or willingness to relocate.
- Valid Passport.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and electronic tablet proficiency.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, criminal history check and FAA DOT drug and alcohol program participation.
- Ability to comprehend guidance found in required manuals.
- Valid FCC Radio telephone Operator’s Permit.
Work Environment:
The role is based within a fast-paced, often crowded and noisy casino environment. This environment may include exposure to second-hand smoke and excessive noise. Must be able to communicate effectively in English with passengers, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

The Pilot II reports directly to the Seminole Hard Rock Director of Aviation and/or Chief Pilot, relating to all aspects of aircraft operational management, including:
