Position Summary
Seaborne Airlines is seeking a highly qualified Twin Engine Seaplane Pilot to join the flight operations team. This role requires extensive multi-engine float experience and the ability to operate safely within tropical marine environments, including coastal areas and congested harbors. The successful candidate will provide scheduled and charter flight services, maintaining the highest levels of safety, precision, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities

Operate De Havilland DHC6-300 aircraft in full compliance with FAA Part 121 regulations and company standard operating procedures.

Execute water-based flight operations, including takeoffs, landings, taxiing, docking, and mooring.

Conduct comprehensive pre-flight planning and inspections, alongside accurate post-flight documentation.

Maintain clear communication with dispatch, Air Traffic Control (ATC), ground support personnel, and passengers.

Adapt flight strategies to dynamic tropical weather patterns and variable sea conditions.

Provide safe, efficient, and professional service in a high-visibility, passenger-facing capacity.
Minimum Qualifications

Completed FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written examination.

FAA Commercial Multi-Engine Land & Sea rating.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Documented experience in FAA Part 121 or 135 operations.

Demonstrated proficiency in seaplane operations within coastal, island, or open water environments.

U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in U.S. territories.
Preferred Qualifications

FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Land & Sea rating.

Pilot in Command (PIC) experience in aircraft such as the De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter (floats), Grumman G-73 Mallard, or similar airframes.

Professional experience operating in the Caribbean or comparable tropical maritime environments.

Familiarity with regional marine and aviation weather systems.

Strong Crew Resource Management (CRM) and communication skills suitable for a diverse, multicultural passenger base.
