Position Summary

Bryce Corporation is seeking a professional Pilot to operate corporate jets, including the Sabre 465 and Sabre 770, as well as non-jet aircraft such as the Cessna 414, to safely transport passengers.

Essential Functions

  • Assist the Chief Pilot with delegated responsibilities and assigned duties.
  • Review and communicate flight assignments.
  • Analyze aircraft documentation to determine load weight, fuel requirements, weather conditions, flight routes, and schedules.
  • Direct changes to fuel supply, load, route, or schedule to ensure flight safety.
  • Verify operational levels of oil, hydraulic fluid, fuel, and cabin pressure prior to engine start.
  • Manage engine startup, taxiing, and pre-flight verification of components and controls.
  • Coordinate with air traffic control for takeoff clearance and flight instructions.
  • Operate aircraft to destination in strict accordance with flight plans, federal regulations, and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, including flight time, altitude, and fuel consumption.
  • Perform aircraft maintenance or repairs as necessary.
  • Execute other related duties as required.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Commercial Pilot's License.
  • Minimum of five years of experience operating commercial jet and non-jet aircraft (one year of experience is defined as an average of 900 flight hours).
  • Must maintain a current second-class medical certificate.
