Pilot - Pilatus PC-12 Charter

Hillsboro Aviation is seeking an experienced Pilatus PC-12 Pilot to join their team in Hillsboro, Oregon. This full-time position involves flying on-demand charter operations under a FAR Part 135 certificate, serving both passenger and cargo clients. The role requires the Pilot in Command to conduct single-pilot IFR flights, manage comprehensive trip planning, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain meticulous flight records while adhering to all FAA regulations and company safety protocols.

About the Role

• Conduct single-pilot IFR flights as Pilot in Command for on-demand charter operations.
• Perform passenger and cargo charter flights.
• Execute thorough trip planning, including weather analysis, performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel management, and NOTAM review.
• Provide pre-flight and post-flight inspections and document any necessary maintenance.
• Deliver high-quality passenger briefings and customer service throughout each flight.
• Maintain accurate flight, duty, and trip logs.
• Ensure strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• FAA Commercial or ATP Airplane Single-Engine Land with an instrument rating.
• A current 2nd or 1st class medical certificate.
• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and PRIA records check.
• Possession of a valid passport for international travel.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2,500 hours of total airplane flight time.
• Minimum 750 hours of airplane cross-country flight time.
• Minimum 250 hours of airplane night flight time.
• Minimum 250 hours of instrument flight time, with at least 150 hours in actual airplane flight.
• Demonstrated strong communication and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mountain flying and operating in Pacific Northwest IMC and icing conditions.
• Minimum 1,500 hours of airplane turbine time; Pilatus PC-12 time is highly preferred.
• Prior Part 135 experience.
• Additional experience in jet or twin-turboprop aircraft is advantageous.
