Pilatus PC-12 Captain Contractor
A prominent aviation operator is actively seeking highly qualified and dedicated Pilatus PC-12 Captain Contractors to join its expanding team. This opportunity is available for both part-time and full-time professionals, primarily based in Jacksonville, FL (CRG). Role Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, primarily conducting domestic day trips. This position demands exceptional airmanship, a deep understanding of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), and unwavering commitment to safety and operational excellence. Compensation
This contract position offers a competitive daily rate of $600, commensurate with the high level of experience and responsibility required.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and professional operation of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.
- Adherence to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company standard operating procedures.
- Pre-flight planning, in-flight decision-making, and post-flight duties.
- Maintaining a high standard of crew resource management and passenger service.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Certifications: Valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single-Engine Land (ASEL) rating and instrument rating.
- Flight Hours: Minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time and 1,000 hours of turbine aircraft experience.
- IFR Proficiency: Demonstrated solid Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) knowledge and extensive operational experience.
- Medical: Current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- Eligibility: Valid Passport and legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted from the ground to a height of 4 feet.
- Relocation: Must be able to relocate to within a 90-minute commute of the primary base.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Aircraft Experience: Minimum of 250 hours of flight experience specifically in the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.
Locations
While the primary operational base for this role is Jacksonville, FL (CRG), the company may also consider qualified candidates based in or willing to relocate to Tampa, FL (TPF) or Atlanta, GA (RYY).
