Responsibilities:
The Captain is responsible for flight command and ensuring all flight operations maintain the highest personal and professional standards. The individual's primary focus includes the safety, comfort and on-time performance of every flight. As a leader and team player, the Captain will serve as a role model, guiding and developing fellow crew members to deliver an exceptional passenger experience.
E190 Requirements:
Pilots with Jet Experience:
- Must possess a total of 3,500 flight hours or more on airplanes with a Maximum Takeoff Mass (MTMA) of 5,700kg or greater.
- A minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (excluding P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine jet, commercial airline transport aircraft certified for multi-crew operation is required.
Pilots without Jet Experience:
- Must possess a total of 4,000 flight hours or more on airplanes with a MTMA of 5,700kg or greater.
- A minimum of 2,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (excluding P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine turboprop, commercial airline transport aircraft certified for multi-crew operation is required.
Licensing Requirements:
- Must hold a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) issued ICAO ATPL. Foreign ATPL holders will be required to complete a license conversion process which includes an instrument rating and a proficiency check with a minimum of 6 months validity.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in spoken and understood English with a minimum ICAO level 4 rating.
- Must satisfy all vaccination requirements as required by CAAS.

Training Co-Payment & Training Bond
Where applicable, successful candidates will be trained to obtain an Aircraft Type Rating for the assigned fleet. Candidates who receive type rating training will be subject to a co-payment of the training cost and a training bond agreement.
