Scoot is currently expanding its Airbus narrow-body operations in Singapore and invites experienced A320 Type-Rated Captains to join its flight deck team. Responsibilities
As an A320 Type-Rated Captain, the incumbent is responsible for the command of the aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety, operational discipline, and professional excellence. The Captain serves as a leader and team player, maintaining punctuality and comfort while mentoring crew members to uphold the organizational service standards.
Requirements
Professional Experience

Total flight time exceeding 3,500 hours on aeroplanes with a Maximum Take-Off Mass (MTOM) of 5,700kg or more.

Minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on multi-engine jet, commercial airline transport aircraft certified for multi-crew operation (excluding P1 U/S hours).
Licensing and Certification

Possession of a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) issued ICAO ATPL. Foreign ATPL holders must undergo license conversion, requiring a valid instrument rating and a proficiency check with a minimum of 6 months' validity.

Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.

Compliance with all CAAS vaccination requirements.

Training and Development
Successful candidates may be required to complete an Aircraft Type Rating for the assigned fleet. Those provided with this training will be subject to a co-payment of costs and must enter into a training bond.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

Initial Screening:
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete online aptitude assessments.

Assessment Centre:
Qualified candidates will attend an Assessment Centre in Singapore featuring group exercises and individual interviews.

Final Assessment:
Successful candidates will complete a two-day Simulator Assessment and Personality Assessment.
