Position: B787 Type-Rated Captain

Scoot is currently expanding its Boeing 787 Wide Body Aircraft operations in Singapore. The organization is seeking experienced B787 Type-Rated Captains who demonstrate strong command capability, safety leadership, and operational discipline to join the flight deck team.

Key Responsibilities

The Captain holds ultimate command of the aircraft, ensuring the highest professional standards, flight safety, and operational punctuality. The successful candidate will act as a mentor and team leader, fostering the development of the flight crew and upholding the company's service standards.

Requirements

  • Total flight time exceeding 5,000 hours on aircraft with an MTMA of 5,700kg or greater.
  • Minimum of 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on multi-engine, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft (excluding P1 U/S hours).
  • Possession of a CAAS-issued ICAO ATPL (foreign ATPL holders must complete license conversion, including an instrument rating and a proficiency check with at least 6 months of validity).
  • Minimum ICAO Level 4 English proficiency.
  • Compliance with all CAAS-mandated vaccination requirements.

Training and Bonding

Selection Process

  • Online aptitude testing.
  • Assessment Centre in Singapore (group exercise and individual interview).
  • Simulator assessment and personality assessment (two-day duration).
