B787 Captain | Scoot | Singapore
Scoot is currently expanding its Boeing 787 Wide Body operations in Singapore and invites experienced B787 Type-Rated Captains to join the team. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong command capability, safety leadership, and operational discipline.
Role Overview
As a B787 Type-Rated Captain, you will command flights with a focus on safety, comfort, and punctuality. You will uphold professional standards while fostering the "Scootitude" experience. Key Requirements

Total flight hours exceeding 5,000 hours on aeroplanes with an MTMA of 5,700kg or more.

Minimum of 2,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (excluding P1 U/S) on multi-engine, multi-crew commercial airline transport aircraft.

ICAO ATPL issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). Foreign ATPL holders must undergo license conversion, including an instrument rating and a proficiency check with at least 6 months' validity.

English language proficiency of ICAO Level 4 or higher.

Must satisfy all vaccination requirements as mandated by CAAS.

Training and Development
Successful candidates may be required to complete Aircraft Type Rating training. This process involves a mandatory co-payment of training costs and the signing of a training bond.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of several stages:

Completion of online aptitude assessments for shortlisted candidates.

Attendance at an Assessment Centre in Singapore, featuring group exercises and individual interviews.

A two-day Simulator Assessment and Personality Assessment for final-stage candidates.
