Position Summary
Scoot is seeking experienced B787 Type-Rated Captains to support the expansion of its wide-body aircraft operations in Singapore. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional command capability, safety leadership, and operational discipline, while upholding the company's commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
The Captain serves as the pilot-in-command, ensuring the highest standards of safety, comfort, and operational punctuality. The role requires proactive leadership to foster team development and ensure the delivery of the "Scootitude" experience to all passengers.
Candidate Requirements
- Total flight hours exceeding 5,000 hours on aeroplanes with a Maximum Take-Off Mass (MTOM) of 5,700kg or more.
- Minimum of 2,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (excluding P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine jet commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation.
- Possession of a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) issued ICAO ATPL. Foreign ATPL holders must complete license conversion, including an instrument rating and proficiency check with at least 6 months validity.
- English language proficiency at a minimum of ICAO Level 4.
- Compliance with all CAAS vaccination requirements.

Training and Development
Successful candidates will benefit from streamlined training programs. Please note that individuals requiring type rating training will be subject to a co-payment of training costs and will be required to enter into a training bond.

- Online aptitude assessments for shortlisted applicants.
- Participation in an Assessment Centre in Singapore, featuring group and individual interviews.
- A two-day simulator assessment and personality assessment for successful candidates.
