As a Cabin Crew member, the individual will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety, punctuality, service, and onboard sales. They will play a vital role in ensuring passenger comfort and well-being throughout each flight.
SAS offers both permanent full-time and flexible positions. Full-time positions are 100%. Flex positions offer a balanced work schedule consisting of 75% employment during the autumn/winter season followed by 90% employment during the spring/summer season (an overall annual average of 82.5%). Employment is contingent upon receiving an approved medical certificate, passing a background check for airport access, successfully completing all required training courses, meeting all company requirements for cabin crew and completing pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. The alcohol tests include CDT- (carbohydrate-deficient transferrin) and PEth-testing (phosphatidylethanol), which are specific markers for risky alcohol consumption or overconsumption of alcohol over time. The drug test measures the use of narcotic substances.
