Cabin Crew Opportunity at SAS - Oslo Base

SAS, a leading Scandinavian airline, is seeking highly motivated and service-oriented individuals to join their Cabin Crew team at Oslo Airport. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to a positive and safe travel experience for frequent flyers.

Responsibilities:

As a Cabin Crew member, the individual will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety, punctuality, service, and onboard sales. They will play a vital role in ensuring passenger comfort and well-being throughout each flight.

Employment Details:

SAS offers both permanent full-time and flexible positions. Full-time positions are 100%. Flex positions offer a balanced work schedule consisting of 75% employment during the autumn/winter season followed by 90% employment during the spring/summer season (an overall annual average of 82.5%). Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 20 years of age.
  • Possess a height between 160 cm and 190 cm.
  • Have completed a minimum of high school education.
  • Demonstrate excellent English language proficiency (Berlitz level B2 or equivalent).
  • Maintain good physical and mental health, with acceptable vision (+/- 0.7 with or without corrections).
  • Be able to pass medical certification, including drug and alcohol testing.
  • Possess strong swimming skills.
  • Be able to comply with all company uniform regulations.
  • Hold a valid EU passport.
  • Be eligible to live and work permanently in Norway.
  • Have a clean criminal record from all countries of residence and be willing to undergo a comprehensive 5-year background check at the time of employment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a valid EASA Attestation (with a minimum of 12 months continuous flying experience within the last four years).
  • Possess a valid EASA Cabin Crew Medical Certificate.
  • Previous experience as a senior cabin crew member is considered an advantage.

Additional Information:

Employment is contingent upon receiving an approved medical certificate, passing a background check for airport access, successfully completing all required training courses, meeting all company requirements for cabin crew and completing pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. The alcohol tests include CDT- (carbohydrate-deficient transferrin) and PEth-testing (phosphatidylethanol), which are specific markers for risky alcohol consumption or overconsumption of alcohol over time. The drug test measures the use of narcotic substances.
