Cabin Crew Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must meet specific qualifications for this position. Applicants must be a minimum of 20 years old and possess a height between 160 cm and 190 cm (without shoes).
A minimum education level of high school or equivalent is required, along with at least two years of work experience. Hospitality, sales, or service experience is considered an advantage.
Fluency in English language, equivalent to Berlitz level B2 or gym. Min. B, is essential.
Strong swimming skills are also mandatory.
Candidates must be able to comply with SAS uniform regulations, which prohibit tattoos on the face. Tattoos with offensive or religious motives, as well as piercings not in accordance with SAS policy, are not permitted. Tattoos on hands or the neck must not exceed one centimeter in size and are limited to a maximum of one per area.
Possession of a valid EU passport allowing free worldwide travel is necessary, along with eligibility to live and work permanently in Norway.

Security Requirements

Employment is contingent upon fulfilling stringent security requirements. Successful candidates must pass an approved security interview and background check necessary for obtaining access cards. Completion and passing of the required training course are mandatory, as is meeting the company's specific requirements set for Cabin Crew.
Applicants must demonstrate good physical and mental health, including good vision (+/- 0.7 with or without corrections), to obtain a health certificate in accordance with EASA Regulations.
Pre-employment drug and alcohol tests (blood and urine samples) are required before the start of the training course.
As the work environment is within the airport's security-related area, candidates must provide an exhaustive police certificate/clean record and receive approval from the aviation authorities.

Employment Details

SAS operates through three owned subsidiaries: SAS Scandinavia, SAS Connect, and SAS Link, offering exciting career opportunities within these structures. Positions include permanent roles and employment in configurations such as 100% and Flex 75/90%. The Flex option entails an annual workload of 82.5%, based on working 75% during autumn/winter and 90% during spring/summer seasons.

Recruitment for these Cabin Crew positions will take place based on operational needs, with the first training courses scheduled for October and the last courses set for June 2026. Candidates should be aware that response times may be longer than usual. If an applicant has not received a rejection, their application is still considered applicable.

Recruitment Journey

**Application:** Upon completion of the application, candidate skills and experience are assessed.
**Online Assessment:** Candidates deemed suitable will be required to complete a digital video assessment involving answering pre-set questions.
**Assessment Center:** Successful applicants from the online assessment stage will receive an invitation to attend an assessment day.
**Pre-employment Checks:** Before an employment offer can be extended, candidates must successfully complete various checks, including reference checks, a criminal record check, security clearance, a medical examination, and drug and alcohol tests.
**Cabin Crew Training:** Candidates who have met all preceding requirements will commence a comprehensive 4-week Cabin Crew training program designed to prepare them for a rewarding career in the sky.
