Part-Time Flight Instructor – Pilatus PC-12 NGX – Scottsdale, Arizona
This highly responsible position demands a professional demeanor and meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will execute all assigned training programs accurately, contributing significantly to the development of course materials and curriculum. The role requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of instruction and professionalism.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive ground and flight training to student pilots.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, ensuring prompt completion of all required paperwork, including ERK, SPE, 8710 forms, IACRA applications, and other training-related documents.
- Evaluate student progress against established standards, assessing proficiency in both skills and knowledge acquisition.
- Monitor student performance throughout the training program and serve as a key liaison between the student and program management.
- Conduct proficiency and certification checks, as authorized under FAR Part 142 (for those holding a Training Center Examiner certification).
- Contribute to the definition of future training needs by participating in training conferences and meetings.
- Maintain all necessary certifications and qualifications required for instruction.
- Uphold the highest level of professional conduct at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Technical Requirements:
- Significant flight time in the specified aircraft type is required, along with relevant licenses.
- Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) certification is mandatory.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is required.
