The Role of a Cabin Crew Member

A Cabin Crew Member at the Ryanair Group plays a pivotal role in delivering a top-class safety and customer service experience to all guests. While a cabin crew career is fulfilling and rewarding, it is also a demanding position where safety is the number one priority. The role requires significant flexibility, including operating both early and late shifts; duties may commence as early as 5:00 AM or conclude as late as midnight. Prospective candidates should be prepared for the demanding nature of the roster, which includes early morning duties and late evening returns.

Training and Career Development

The journey to becoming a qualified Cabin Crew Member commences with a comprehensive 6-week training course. This intensive program equips trainees with all the fundamental skills required for their day-to-day role, with a strong focus on safety protocols and customer service excellence. The course includes regular exams and culminates with Supernumerary flights, followed by the award of Cabin Crew Wings.

Requirements

Candidates for the Cabin Crew Member position are expected to meet the following criteria:

Applicants must hold the unrestricted right to live, work, and travel freely throughout the European Union and the Ryanair Network.
Height approximately between 5'2" (157 cm) and 6'2" (188 cm).
Ability to swim 25 meters unaided.
Possession of a hardworking, flexible, outgoing, and friendly personality.
Adaptability and comfort with working a shift roster.
A strong ability to provide excellent customer service and enjoy dealing with the public, demonstrating a 'can do' attitude.
Comfortable speaking and writing in English with ease.
A genuine passion for travelling and meeting new people.
