The Role of Cabin Crew

As a integral member of the Ryanair Group Cabin Crew, individuals will be based at one of the airline’s 90+ operational bases. This demanding yet profoundly rewarding position places the highest emphasis on safety and the provision of a superior customer experience. Cabin Crew members are responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of all passengers, operating both early morning shifts (commencing as early as 5:00 AM) and late evening shifts (concluding near midnight). While prior aviation experience is not a prerequisite, candidates must demonstrate unwavering enthusiasm, a strong team spirit, and an absolute commitment to operational excellence.

Comprehensive Training and Career Progression

Successful candidates will commence their journey with a comprehensive 6-week Cabin Crew training course. This intensive program is meticulously designed to equip aspiring crew members with all fundamental skills required for their day-to-day duties, focusing on delivering top-tier safety and customer service. The curriculum includes regular examinations, culminates in practical Supernumerary flights, and leads to the esteemed award of Cabin Crew Wings.

  • Ensuring the highest standards of safety and security for all passengers and aircraft in accordance with aviation regulations.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service, responding to passenger needs with professionalism, efficiency, and a proactive attitude.
  • Managing in-flight sales and other commercial duties effectively.
  • Working collaboratively within a diverse and fast-paced team environment to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and during flight, including special assistance where required.

Candidate Requirements

Prospective candidates must satisfy the following essential criteria:

  • Possess the unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and to travel freely throughout the Ryanair Network.
  • Be approximately between 5’2” (157 cm) and 6’2” (188 cm) in height.
  • Demonstrate the ability to swim 25 meters unaided.
  • Exhibit a hardworking, flexible, outgoing, and friendly personality.
  • Be adaptable and willing to work a variable shift roster, including early mornings and late evenings.
  • Possess a genuine enjoyment of interacting with the public and a proven ability to provide excellent customer service with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Demonstrate fluent proficiency in both spoken and written English.
  • Harbor a passion for travel and meeting new people from diverse backgrounds.
