The Royal Flying Doctor Service Western Operations is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Line Pilot to join their team in Kalgoorlie, WA 6430. This full-time position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to contribute to essential healthcare services across Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of aircraft, transporting patients, medical teams, and supplies to remote and regional areas, as well as conducting emergency and non-emergency medical flights. The Line Pilot will also maintain accurate flight logs and aircraft records, and ensure adherence to all Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations and Royal Flying Doctor Service safety protocols. Ongoing training and professional development are integral to this role.
Applicants must hold a CASA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and possess significant experience, with a minimum of 1500 hours flying fixed-wing aircraft in diverse weather conditions. Essential skills include fixed-wing single pilot experience, preferably in turboprop aircraft, and a proven commitment to aviation safety. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and strong teamwork skills are also required, along with a passion for serving regional and remote communities with vital healthcare services. This position commences with a Ground School in April 2025.
