The Royal Flying Doctor Service WA is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Line Pilot to join their team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This full-time position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the delivery of essential healthcare and emergency services across the state. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of aircraft, transporting patients, medical teams, and essential supplies to remote and regional areas. Duties include conducting both emergency and non-emergency medical flights, maintaining accurate flight logs and aircraft records, adhering to all CASA regulations and RFDS safety protocols, and participating in ongoing training.
Applicants must possess a CASA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and have a minimum of 1500 hours of experience flying fixed-wing aircraft in varied weather conditions. Experience with fixed-wing single pilot operations (Turboprop) is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional flying skills, a strong commitment to aviation safety, and possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Furthermore, effective communication and teamwork skills are required, along with a genuine passion for providing essential healthcare services to regional and remote communities.
