Aviation & Critical Services Line Pilot - Rockhampton, Queensland

This is a full-time, fixed-based opportunity to join an experienced team and serve a vital purpose within the community.

About the Role

Babcock MCS is seeking a qualified Multi-Engine Helicopter Pilot to join its Aviation & Critical Services team based in Rockhampton, Queensland. The successful candidate will serve as an AW139 / B412 Line Pilot, supporting the Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service. As this is a Fixed Base position, the successful applicant will be required to reside within a 60-minute radius of the base.

About You

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications and experience:

• CASA CPL (ATPL preferred)
• Class 1 Medical
• Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement and 2 renewals
• 2500+ hours total helicopter (may be reduced to 2000 hours provided the pilot has substantial aeromedical experience and more than 200 hours night flying experience)
• 1500+ hours PIC helicopter
• 1200+ hours turbine time helicopter
• 100+ hours night PIC
• AW139 type rating and 100+ hours experience on type
• B412 type rating and 100+ hours experience on type
• NVIS rating
• Low-level rating with winch endorsement
• Prior EMS/SAR operational experience preferred

Type rating or qualification training may be offered to the successful candidate.
