About the Role

Babcock is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified Multi-Engine Helicopter Pilots to become a valued member of their Aviation & Critical Services team. The successful candidate will be based in Rockhampton, Queensland, as an AW139/B412 Line Pilot, supporting the Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service. Due to the nature of this fixed-base position, the selected applicant will be required to reside within 60 minutes of the base.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

CASA CPL (ATPL preferred)
Class 1 Medical
Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement and 2 renewals
A minimum of 2500 hours total helicopter flight time, with a possible reduction to 2000 hours for pilots with substantial aeromedical experience and over 200 hours of night flying.
At least 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) helicopter experience
A minimum of 1200 hours turbine time helicopter experience
At least 100 hours night PIC experience
AW139 type rating and 100+ hours of experience on type
B412 type rating and 100+ hours of experience on type
NVIS rating
Low-level rating with winch endorsement
Prior EMS/SAR operational experience is highly preferred.

Type rating or qualification training may be offered to the suitable candidate.
