Multi-Engine Helicopter Pilot - Rockhampton, QLD
Babcock is seeking expressions of interest from qualified Multi-Engine Helicopter Pilots to join its Aviation & Critical Services team. This is a full-time, fixed-base opportunity. The successful candidate will serve a vital purpose in the community and join an experienced team.
About the Role
The available position is for an AW139 / B412 Line Pilot based at Rockhampton, Queensland, supporting the Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service. Due to the fixed-base nature of the role, successful applicants will be required to reside within 60 minutes of the base.
About You
The successful candidate must satisfy the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- CASA CPL (ATPL preferred)
- Class 1 Medical
- Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement and 2 renewals
- 2500+ hrs total helicopter (may be reduced to 2000hrs provided that the pilot has substantial aeromedical experience and more than 200 hours night flying experience)
- 1500+ hrs PIC helicopter
- 1200+ hrs turbine time helicopter
- 100+ hrs night PIC
- AW139 type rating and 100+ hrs experience on type
- B412 type rating and 100+ hrs experience on type
- NVIS rating
- Low-level rating with winch endorsement
- Prior EMS/SAR operational experience preferred
Type rating or qualification training may be offered to the successful candidate.
