Raytheon Australia is a trusted provider of advanced technology and engineering solutions for the Australian Defence Force. We are seeking an experienced pilot to join our team in Nowra, New South Wales. This role offers the potential for Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) options within Australia.

The Role:

As a Learjet Pilot, you will play a vital role in delivering advanced airborne Electronic Warfare (EW) training, testing, and certification to Air, Land, Maritime, and industry task units in support of the Australian Defence Force. Utilizing Raytheon Australia's highly modified Special Mission Aircraft, you will work alongside an experienced team to ensure the successful execution of mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Form part of the flight crew for the Learjet 35A aircraft, equipped for EW missions.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and effective working environment, collaborating with the Head of Operations.
• Act as Deployment Commander on a rotational basis with other aircrew members.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of tactical operating procedures and standards for EW flight operations.
• Conduct deployments in support of domestic and international exercises as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CASA Part 61 Commercial Pilot License (Aeroplane) and a current CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Be eligible to obtain a current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Possess CASA Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) training, Low Level Rating (Aeroplane), Formation Flying Flight Activity Endorsement (Aeroplane), and Instrument Rating (Multi Engine Aircraft (MEA) with Instrument Approach Procedure (IAP) 2D and IAP 3D).
• Minimum of 500 hours of Pilot In Command (PIC) experience.
• Minimum 6 years of flying experience as a pilot in military aviation operations.

Highly Desirable:

• Military pilot fast jet experience (or civilian equivalent supporting Defence Operations in a similar role).
• Additional CASA qualifications such as Flight Instructor, Flight Examiner, or previous check and/or training experience.
• Eligibility for or current possession of an AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance, with the ability to acquire a Negative Vetting 2 Security Clearance.
