Location:

Abbotsford, BC, Canada

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Conair aircraft in firefighting missions both domestically and internationally.
Ensure safe, precise, and efficient flying in challenging conditions, including mountainous terrain.
Participate in regular training and adhere to all safety and operational protocols.

Qualifications:

Canadian Citizen or legal right to work in Canada.
Ability to obtain necessary work visas for international firefighting assignments.
Valid Canadian Driver's License and Passport.
Commitment to residing in Canada during the fire season.
Valid Canadian ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
Ability to obtain a Canadian Category 1 Medical Certificate.
Minimum of 2,000 hours total flight time.
Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
At least 250 hours of flying in mountainous terrain.
Recent flying experience within the last 12 months.

Additional Qualifications for Specific Aircraft:

For Seaplane or Tailwheel Aircraft positions:

500 hours PIC on seaplane in a commercial operation, or
200 hours on certified tailwheel aircraft.

Please note, a lack of seaplane or tailwheel experience will not preclude other applicants from consideration.
