About the Role
Expressions of interest are invited from qualified **Multi-Engine Helicopter Pilots** to join a leading **Aviation & Critical Services team**. The immediate opportunity is for a **B412 Line Pilot**, based permanently at **Adelaide Airport, South Australia**.
Babcock MCS operates a fleet of three **Bell 412 helicopters**, providing essential support to the SA Ambulance Service and SA Police. As this is a fixed-base position, the successful applicant will be required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the **Adelaide Airport base**.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- CASA Commercial Pilot Licence (**CPL**)
- Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Instrument Rating with **MEH** (Multi-Engine Helicopter) endorsement and a minimum of three renewals
- 2000+ hours total helicopter flight time
- 1000+ hours Pilot In Command (PIC) helicopter flight time
- 400+ hours PIC **MEH** flight time, excluding ICUS (In Command Under Supervision)
- 100+ hours instrument flying time
- 200+ hours night flight time
- Night Vision Imaging System (**NVIS**) rating
- Low-level rating with winch endorsement
- Prior EMS/SAR (Emergency Medical Service / Search and Rescue) operational experience (desirable)
- **B412** type rating and 100+ hours experience on type (desirable)
- H145 type rating and 100+ hours experience on type (desirable)
