Second-in-Command (SIC) Pilot Position
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced pilot with a proven commitment to safety and professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of aviation regulations and procedures, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- FAA Pilot License: Commercial, Instrument, Multi-Engine
- Part 135 PIC Qualifications: Must meet all applicable requirements.
- Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States. International charter opportunities to Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas may be available.
- Medical Certification: Holds at least a First Class Medical certificate.
- Passport: Possesses a valid passport.
- Safety Record: Demonstrates a consistent and impeccable safety record with no accidents or incidents.
Requirements:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate: Airplane rating required.
- Flight Time:
- 1000 hours total flight time.
- 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).
- 50 hours Multi-Engine.
- 100 hours night flight time.
- 75 hours Instrument flight time (50 hours in actual flight).
- 75 hours weather flight time.
- Recent Experience: Must have flown at least 50 hours within the past 6 months.
- Knowledge: Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of Federal Aviation Administration rules and regulations, as well as aircraft maintenance procedures.
- Skills:
- Excellent customer/client focus.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Adaptable to flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compliance: Must be able to pass FAA drug/alcohol screening, background checks, and submit to random drug tests as required.
- Medical: Maintains a current medical certificate in accordance with company policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 500 hours Multi-Engine Turbine experience.
- King Air experience is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work comfortably in confined spaces.
- Ability to manipulate, push, pull, and lift heavy objects exceeding 150 lbs.
- Ability to safely climb onto and off of an airplane wing for pre-flight, post-flight, and emergency exit procedures.
- Digital dexterity for aircraft pre-flight and post-flight tasks.
- Ability to execute flights up to 4.5 hours in length, with a total daily flight time not exceeding 10 hours within a 14-hour duty period.
Compensation and Benefits:
- SICs will be compensated at a salary rate of $45,000.00 per year.
- A 12-month training contract will be required from the date of completion of initial training.
