First Officer
Republic Airways seeks highly motivated and experienced aviators to join our team as First Officers. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet, providing essential support to the Captain and contributing to an exceptional travel experience for our passengers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Captain in pre-flight planning, meticulously analyzing weather reports, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures, and verifying aircraft airworthiness.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, confirming the aircraft is properly fueled and prepared for a safe and on-time departure.
- Skillfully operate the aircraft during all phases of flight, adhering to the Captain's instructions, FARs, and company protocols.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, relevant FARs, company manuals, policies, and procedures.
- Keep the Captain and passengers informed of potential turbulence or any operational factors that may affect the flight.
- Meticulously complete load manifests for each flight.
- Contribute to a culture of on-time performance by assisting the Captain in meeting all report, departure, and minimum turn times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with passenger and baggage handling while at the terminal.
- Uphold a professional appearance in accordance with company uniform standards.
- Conduct oneself with the utmost professionalism at all times, adhering to the company's Code of Conduct as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual and Associate Handbook.
- Maintain currency and proficiency through continuous professional development and training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Meet the minimum FAA and company requirements for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted ATP certificate.
- Successful completion of the ATP written exam is highly preferred.
- Meet the current FAA and company age and flight hour requirements for interviewing and hiring. Candidates who meet the interview minimums but not the hiring minimums at the time of application may be eligible for future consideration upon fulfilling all requirements within a specified timeframe.
- Prior customer service experience, particularly within the aviation industry, is highly desirable.

- Physical Stamina: Meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged sitting, lifting up to 75 pounds, and working in confined spaces.
