Rampart Aviation seeks a highly qualified Pilot in Command to join their team. The successful candidate will operate turboprop aircraft and should possess significant experience in multi-engine turboprop operations. Experience with Casa 212, DHC-4 Caribou, or DHC-6 aircraft is particularly advantageous.
This role entails performing Pilot in Command duties for Rampart flight operations, with potential opportunities to serve as an Instructor Pilot or Check Airman. The position is based near San Diego, CA (KNZY), and candidates must reside in the area. While primarily a CONUS based role, short-term deployments may occasionally be necessary. Flight operations are conducted under Part 135 and 91 regulations. All duties will be executed in strict adherence to Company Operations Manuals, Military Operations Procedures, and the Federal Aviation Regulations.
Required qualifications include holding an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or a Commercial Multi-engine Land certificate, and a valid First or Second Class Medical certificate. Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) ratings are desirable.
Preferred minimum flight experience encompasses 2500 hours total time and 500 hours multi-engine time.
Additional requirements include possessing a valid U.S. Passport, a valid U.S. Driver's License, and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret Clearance; a Secret Personal Security Clearance is strongly preferred.
