Pilot in Command (PIC) Position at Rampart Aviation
Rampart Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our fleet of turboprop aircraft, operating under Part 135 and 91 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Pilot in Command duties for all Rampart flight operations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in piloting turboprop multi-engine aircraft. Experience with Casa 212, DHC-4 Caribou, or DHC-6 is highly preferred.
- Willingness to serve as an Instructor Pilot or Check Airman, as required.
Location:
This position is based near San Diego, CA (KNZY) and requires local residency. While the primary focus is on CONUS operations, short-term deployments may be necessary.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Hold a valid ATP or Commercial Multi-engine Land pilot rating issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
- Possess a current First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
Preferred:
- CFI, CFII, and MEI ratings.
Experience:
- Minimum 2,500 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum 500 hours of multi-engine flight time.
Other:
- Valid US Passport.
- Valid US Driver's License.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and hold a Secret Clearance; existing Secret Personal Security Clearance is highly desirable.
