Fixed Wing Pilot

REACH Air is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Fixed Wing Pilot to join their team, providing critical medical air transportation services across the United States. This is a full-time position based nationwide, with immediate openings in California at Murrieta, North Bend, and Crescent City. The successful candidate will operate King Air 90/200 aircraft, adhering to the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities:

The pilot will collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure the safe and efficient transport of patients. They will ensure the aircraft is flight-ready, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company guidelines, and will maintain meticulous records of all flights, loads, and relevant documentation. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, and medical facilities. The pilot is responsible for maintaining all required certifications and participating in ongoing training programs. Additional duties include aircraft deicing, assisting with towing, hangar operations, and pre-flight preparation.

Qualifications:

• Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) certification is required.
• Must be willing and able to obtain an ATP within 5 years of employment.
• Possession of a valid and unexpired driver's license.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• A minimum of 2,500 total flight hours, with at least 2,000 in fixed-wing aircraft.
• 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
• 500 cross-country hours.
• 500 multi-engine hours.
• 100 night hours.
• 75 instrument hours (50 actual).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $109,000 to $125,000 (inclusive of a 25% geographic modifier).
• $15,000 sign-on bonus upon successful completion of training/checkride (no training contract).
• $40,000 retention bonus, available after a 6-month waiting period, within a 3-year program.
• 7 days on/7 days off schedule.

Working Conditions:

The pilot will be required to work outdoors, exposed to varying weather conditions. They must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 70 pounds. The position demands specific vision abilities, including close, distant, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work schedule involves 12-hour shifts, typically starting at 0500 or 1700, with occasional extensions to a maximum of 15 hours.
