Pilot-in-Command (PIC) - Lear 45XR
Pentastar Aviation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to join our team, operating a Lear 45XR within a 14 CFR Part 91 business aviation environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and comfortable transportation of passengers, ensuring timely and efficient operation of the aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Act as Pilot-in-Command, working collaboratively with a qualified Second-in-Command (SIC) to ensure compliance with all FAA regulations throughout flight and ground operations.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, prioritizing passenger comfort and satisfaction.
- Promote a cohesive team environment on the flight deck, fostering effective communication and decision-making regarding potential delays, rerouting, or cancellations.
- Contribute to the overall department by participating in crew meetings, assisting with cabin re-stocking, and fulfilling other general duties as required.

Location and Schedule:
- This position is based at Willow Run Airport (KYIP) and requires the selected candidate to reside within a two-hour radius of the airport.
- The role involves approximately 275 flight hours per year with 125 days of annual travel.
Qualifications:
- FAA ATP Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 3,000 hours of Total Flight Time.
- Valid US Passport.
- Prior experience in a multi-crew environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation or a related field preferred.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible and changing work schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating Lear 40 series aircraft.
- Current and qualified FSI or CAE-trained Lear 45 applicants will be highly regarded.
