Responsibilities

The PRIA Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the company's growth by ensuring strict adherence to Pilot Records Information Act (PRIA) regulations, as mandated by law and the Department of Transportation (DOT). This position requires collaboration with the Recruiting and Training departments, as well as external organizations, to ensure all pilot hires meet DOT and FAA compliance standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing all PRIA documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Organizing and actively participating in annual PRIA and DOT audits.
  • Maintaining precise PRIA and DOT records in accordance with applicable guidelines and laws.
  • Developing and implementing effective processes for the consistent and timely filing of PRIA requests and responses.
  • Serving as a liaison with other carriers regarding PRIA information exchange.
  • Coordinating and preparing materials for audit inspections.
  • Electronically filing documents and updating spreadsheets to maintain compliance with company policy and federal regulations.
  • Entering and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of data in applicant profiles to support regulatory compliance.
  • Requesting associate training and employment records from previous employers within FAA-regulated timeframes.
  • Supplying training records to requesting airlines within regulated timeframes.
  • Contributing to the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS), including Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of administrative, office support, and document retention experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PRIA regulations.
  • Previous experience within the aviation industry.
  • Knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations and policies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. if hired.
