About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates closely with aviation management to develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies meticulously tailored to specific operational needs and stringent regulatory requirements.
- Manages the full-cycle recruitment, robust talent acquisition, and effective onboarding processes for specialized aviation personnel, including highly qualified pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians, and various essential aircrew.
- Provides expert advisory services and continuous support on complex employee relations matters, performance management frameworks, and the precise interpretation of public service and aviation-specific policies.
- Leads proactive workforce planning initiatives designed to address both current and future staffing requirements, ensuring seamless compliance with all relevant public sector and aviation regulations.
- Develops and facilitates impactful training and development programs focused on HR best practices, leadership enhancement, and critical regulatory compliance for all aviation teams.
- Oversees compensation structures, benefits administration, and HR information systems (HRIS) specifically for aviation staff, guaranteeing accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Actively champions and promotes initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a consistently positive and productive work environment across all aviation functions.
Qualifications
- A completed bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline; a Master's degree or a recognized CHRP/CHRL designation is highly preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive human resources experience, with a significant portion dedicated to supporting aviation, aerospace, or other highly regulated operational environments.
- Demonstrated ability to expertly navigate and resolve complex HR issues, including intricate labor relations scenarios and the judicious application of government policy.
- Strong foundational understanding and practical experience in recruitment best practices, talent management strategies, and performance frameworks particularly relevant to highly technical and operational roles.
- Exceptional communication, advanced interpersonal, and strong analytical skills are essential for this role.
- Proficiency in utilizing HRIS platforms and standard office productivity software.
