Role Summary

The DHC-6 Twin Otter Captain operates as Pilot in Command (PIC) of the aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency across all scheduled and charter operations. The ideal candidate thrives in challenging operational environments and possesses extensive experience navigating the diverse topography of Northern Canada, including off-strip operations.

Essential Pilot Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications and experience levels:

• A minimum of 3000 hours total flight time.
• A minimum of 2000 hours multi-engine time.
• A minimum of 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on multi-engine aircraft.
• Possession of a current and valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and an active, current passport.
• The demonstrated ability to obtain and maintain a Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
• Willingness and flexibility to operate on variable shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays, as required by operational necessity.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to professional pilots demonstrating specialized experience:

• Prior Captain experience on the DHC-6 Twin Otter or DHC-3T aircraft.
• Significant operational experience with off-strip operations, specifically utilizing floats and/or skis in remote environments.
