Air Tindi | DHC6 Captain

Air Tindi is seeking a motivated and safety-oriented Twin Otter Captain for a full-time position based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. This role involves operating the DHC6 aircraft and ensuring safe flight operations, passenger well-being, and adherence to flight schedules across Northern Canada and beyond.

About the Role

As a Captain with Air Tindi, individuals will be responsible for the safe operation of the Twin Otter (DHC6) aircraft, ensuring the safety of all passengers. Key duties include flight planning, maintaining the daily flight schedule, monitoring aircraft equipment, and communicating essential trip information. The position requires working outside the Yellowknife base and involves travel to and from the aircraft.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card)
• Minimum of 2,500 hours total flight time
• Minimum of 1,000 hours on floats
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Strong work ethic and a positive team attitude
• Commitment to safety and excellent customer service
• Willingness to travel and work outside the Yellowknife base
• Valid Transport Canada license
• Valid passport
