Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities of the role:

Accountable to Head of Training for ensuring that all training delivered under ATO requirements meets One Air operating standards including all safety and regulatory compliance requirements

Ensuring One Air ATO related training is effective in equipping our pilots with the skills to deliver the highest standards of safety, efficiency and service

Maintaining collaborative and effective working relationships with all strategic partners involved in delivery of ATO related training

Co-ordinating with Crew Manager to ensure all new hire training is planned to meet recruitment needs

Planning and delivery of Strategic projects to ensure ATO training is developed to meet future needs

Ensuring continuous development and innovation of ATO related training
Job requirements
Key skills , knowledge, experience required: (i.e. those required to fulfil the role, including qualifications):
-
Licence: Valid UK CAA ATPL

Total Hours Minimum 5000 with 1500 hours Pilot In Command, ideally including heavy jet experience

Significant Airline Pilot Training Experience sufficient to ensure credibility with pilots and regulators for a training leadership role

Understanding of regulatory requirements related to pilot training

Experience in a leadership role delivering business change through teamwork and collaboration

Proven ability of delivering excellent Training using skills which also embrace the One Air Values
Terms & Conditions
-
Regular work pattern to provide approximate 50/50 split between office duties and flying/training duties
-
Basic Salary and per diems as per Captain contract, currently:
-
Salary £87,000 per annum
-
Per Diems - £72 per day on flying duties
-
Overtime payment scheme as per pilot contract with a reduced trigger for payment taking into account reduced flying
-
Fixed salary increment for training role according to qualifications follows:
-
Line Training Captain: £8,000 per annum
-
TRI: £8,000 per annum
-
TRE: £12,000 per annum
-
Variable payments as follows:
-
£60 per block hour for all flights operated as Line Training Captain
-
£60 per simulator hour for all simulator duties operated as TRI or TRE
-
£200 per day for office duties
