Conduct Inflight Training for Flight Attendants to include all phases of Initial, Recurrent, Requalification, Differences, Transition, and any other training functions required in accordance with the OAI Operations Training Manual.

Comprehensively responsible for the body of knowledge and skills required to competently perform and maintain the skills required for ALL aspects of Inflight Training, to include, but not limited to: Basic Indoctrination, Recurrent, Transition, and Equipment Familiarization, Emergency Procedures and Equipment Training, Security, Hazmat, CRM, CPR, and First Aid, Firefighting, and any other portions of a particular required curriculum.

Uphold policies and procedures set forth by the company and FAA.

Ensure proper documentation of Inflight Training in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations.

Assist in the development of Inflight training materials as directed.

Ensure Flight Attendant compliance with all internal standards, policies, and procedures of the Organization.

Remain in full compliance with training and currency requirements of the Flight Attendant Position.

Supports and recommends to the Manager of Inflight Training any additional training or administrative assignments; and,
-
Evaluate trainees during training and recommend additional instruction or separation from the program.
In addition, the Inflight Training Instructor exercises supervisory responsibility for the Inflight Services personnel. Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:

Administratively supervise assigned Flight Attendants and Pursers;
-
Provide support and counsel to Flight Attendants and Pursers;
-
Establish and maintain a regular means of communication with Flight Attendants and Pursers;
-
Track all online transmittals to ensure that revisions have been downloaded to the eFAM and acknowledged in timely fashion and compare with reports generated from the Technical Publications Department and Mobile Device Management;
-
Conduct Inflight observation, evaluation, and/or training to include Flight Attendant Check Rides, Purser Check Rides, Initial Operating Experience (IOE), and assist with any other training related duties as may be necessary;

Conduct Inflight Quality Assurance Program (IQAP) audits;

Ensure proper documentation of Flight Attendant Check Rides, Purser Check Rides, and Initial Operating Experience (IOE);

Distribute Flight Attendant Briefings, Memos, Must Reads, Bulletins, e-mails, and other communication to ensure Flight Attendants remain knowledgeable of the laws, regulations, rules, guidelines and other information that is relevant in the performance of duties;

Ensure compliance with all internal standards, policies and procedures;
-
Ensure compliance with the laws, regulations and procedures of those States in which operations are conducted;

Ensure compliance with all authorities that have jurisdiction over operations that are conducted over the high seas or within a foreign country;
-
Directly observe Inflight Cabin Operations on a regular basis, including “Meet and Greet” flights;
-
Review all Purser Reports and follow-up on pertinent issues;
-
Issue Flight Attendant Crew Member Miscellaneous Reports (CMMR), Performance Correction Plans (PCP), and/or Performance Correction Notices (PCN) and ensure fair and appropriate discipline as outlined in the Flight Attendant Policies and Procedures Handbook;

Create, maintain and secure a confidential activity file for Flight Attendants and Pursers which contains personal contact information, communication records, transmittal records, expense reports, and any disciplinary actions documentation;

Create, coordinate and execute personal administrative schedule and operational schedule based on requirements set forth by the Director of Inflight and Communications;

Restock Purser paperwork, demo kits, and other items as needed;

Ensure aircraft Flight Attendant Manual (eFAM) is up to date;

Recruit and/or interview Flight Attendant personnel;
-
Coordinate and develop Flight Attendant Recognition Programs with Inflight Management;
-
Ensure Flight Attendants have all of the required items to properly perform duties and responsibilities, including uniforms, manuals, passports, and equipment; and
-
Serve as a Flight Attendant or Purser when required.
QUALIFICATIONS

Successful completion of Omni Air International’s Flight Attendant Training;
-
Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Outstanding attendance and dependability history;

Must pass a 10-year background check including a FAA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check
