Aviation Maintenance Instructor

Position Overview
As an Aviation Maintenance Instructor, you will be instrumental in educating and inspiring students in aircraft systems and components. UTI emphasizes hands-on learning, and you will be at the forefront of interactive teaching, preparing the next generation for the challenges of modern aviation maintenance technology.
Responsibilities

Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters student passion and imparts expert knowledge in aviation maintenance.

Provide hands-on training and practical demonstrations, guiding students in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing aircraft systems.

Collaborate with the education team on curriculum development, enhancing existing courses and creating new ones aligned with industry trends.

Mentor students on individual projects, promoting critical thinking and innovative problem-solving.

Instill and reinforce safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure learning environment.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum of 5 years of practical work experience in the aviation maintenance field.

An FAA A&P license is highly valued; if not current, UTI will support obtaining it.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students and staff.
