Universal Technical Institute (UTI) is seeking experienced Aviation Maintenance Technicians to join our team as Instructors. Position Overview

As an Aviation Maintenance Instructor, you will be instrumental in educating students on aircraft systems and components. The position emphasizes hands-on learning and interactive teaching methodologies to inspire students and prepare them for challenges in modern aviation maintenance technology. Responsibilities

  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, fostering student passion for aviation maintenance and imparting expert knowledge.
  • Provide hands-on training and practical demonstrations, guiding students in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing aircraft systems.
  • Collaborate with the education team on curriculum development, enhancing existing courses and creating new ones aligned with industry trends.
  • Mentor students on individual projects, promoting critical thinking and innovative problem-solving.
  • Instill a strong emphasis on safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure learning environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical work experience in the aviation maintenance field.
  • FAA A&P license is highly valued. Candidates without a current license will be supported in obtaining one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
  • Patience and empathy to accommodate diverse learning paces.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive hourly wage: $35 - $38.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities.
