EMB-505 Pilot in Command

Northern Jet, a distinguished private aviation company with over 25 years of experience, seeks a highly skilled and dedicated EMB-505 Pilot in Command to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time professional will contribute to the delivery of personalized luxury travel, upholding the company's commitment to safety, convenience, and quality. Northern Jet operates a fleet of over 40 jets and holds an ARGUS Platinum safety rating.

The Pilot in Command will operate flights under both Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand, ensuring the seamless execution of missions while maintaining full compliance with FAA regulations related to flight operations, duty hours, and pilot qualifications. They will follow company procedures for reporting any discrepancies with the aircraft during flight or ground operations and complete administrative tasks as assigned by company management.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $145,000.00 to $200,000.00, with a base salary of $150,000+. Further compensation includes daily and annual pay incentives such as Scheduled Day Off (SDO) pay of $1,150 for PIC, holiday pay of $800, and per diem rates of $75 for domestic travel and $120 for international. Additional bonuses up to $20,000 are available for roles such as Standardization Captain or Instructor. Pilots must be Midwest based.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3,000 Total Time
  • 2,500 PIC Time
  • 50+ hours of Multi-Engine Time
  • Current 1st Class Medical
  • Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot License

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must have no accidents, incidents, or warnings within the past five years, and possess a thorough knowledge of corporate aviation and international procedures, including operations in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. They should also have exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills, maintain an impeccable professional appearance, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, successfully pass a drug screening test, clear a comprehensive background check, and maintain a clean driving record are also required.
