Position Overview
Executive Jet Management is seeking qualified Second in Command (SIC) candidates for a Citation Sovereign aircraft based in St. Louis, MO (KSUS). This position is part of a dedicated three-pilot account supported by an onsite Maintenance Technician, operating approximately 750 hours per year under EJM's Part 135 Certificate. The Second in Command plays a vital role in a well-established, high-performing flight department, exploring new destinations and ensuring exceptional service.
Responsible for the welfare of passengers in all aspects of safety and service. Trained and proficient in the appropriate portions of Abnormal and Emergency procedures. Trained and proficient in all areas of cabin systems and operations. Responsible to the Chief Pilot for the performance of all assigned duties involved in the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments. Responsible to the assigned PIC of a scheduled trip for all duties assigned by the PIC for that trip.
Responsibilities
- Performing pilot duties in strict accordance with the Company General Operations Manual (GOM), FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other relevant instructions.
- Actively contributing to the company's safety, security, and quality goals through continual compliance with the Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting mechanisms.
- Conducting post-flight duties, including ensuring the cockpit and cabin areas are free of debris, and reporting any interior equipment discrepancies to the Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Arranging and obtaining required cabin items, such as catering, as identified by the Flight Operations Center.
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Coordinating all work schedules and changes with the Chief Pilot.
- Accurately logging and reporting flight and duty times.
- Reporting any commercial flying performed outside the company to the Flight Operations Center for inclusion in official records.
- Ensuring a valid First Class Medical Certificate is maintained and a copy is provided to the Flight Operations Training Department by the required deadline.
- Reporting to the Chief Pilot for overall performance of assigned duties in the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments.
- Reporting to the assigned PIC for all duties assigned during a scheduled trip.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

- Ability to reside in or relocate to the St. Louis, MO area.
- A valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- A Type rating in the CE680 series is preferred but not required.
- Air Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
Minimum Flight Experience Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 2500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 500 hours
- Instrument: 150 hours
- Jet: 250 hours
- Turbine Engine: 100 hours
