Citation Latitude First Officer Position at Executive Jet Management
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and part of the world's largest private aviation infrastructure, is seeking a qualified First Officer for a Citation Latitude aircraft based at Jacksonville International Airport (KJAX). Purpose of Position:
The First Officer will be part of a three-pilot crew operating under Part 91 and 135 regulations. As a vital member of the flight crew, the First Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering an exceptional service experience for passengers.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ensuring Safe Operation of Flight:
- Collaborates with the Captain to ensure crewing and trip assignments adhere to company and regulatory requirements.
- Participates in flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Contributes to and participates in Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefings, leading to the mitigation of operational risks.
- Strictly adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates effectively with company personnel. Acts as the Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight inspections, verifying the aircraft's maintenance status and ensuring mission capability. Reports any discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Oversees the monitoring and completion of all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) according to established SOPs.
- Delivers comprehensive passenger briefings, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Provides exceptional customer service, addressing any special needs of passengers (e.g., physically challenged).
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides quality service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Actively investigates and resolves any service deviations.
- Collaborates effectively with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to maintain a consistent service experience for owners and passengers. Resolves conflicts and challenges in a professional and acceptable manner.
Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains adherence to all regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience requirements.
- Complies fully with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports any safety concerns or non-compliance issues through the appropriate channels.
Certifications and Licenses:
- FAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with a valid medical certificate.
Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 1,000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum of 500 hours of multi-engine flight time.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- Experience with the Citation Latitude aircraft platform is highly desired.
- Strong understanding and adherence to all applicable aviation regulations.
