Citation Latitude Pilot - Jacksonville International Airport (KJAX)

Purpose of Position:
The Pilot in Command (PIC) will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of a Citation Latitude aircraft based at Jacksonville International Airport (KJAX). The position involves both Part 91 and Part 135 operations. The PIC is ultimately responsible for ensuring that all company and regulatory requirements are adhered to while providing an exceptional service experience for passengers.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:
- Complies with all company and regulatory requirements regarding crewing and trip assignments.
- Completes comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each flight assignment.
- Utilizes the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and proactively mitigate operational risks.
- Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates effectively with company personnel as needed.
- Serves as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as outlined by company policy.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight inspections, including assessment of aircraft maintenance status, to ensure the aircraft is mission-capable. Records all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitors and ensures all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are completed as per SOPs.
- Delivers comprehensive passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation. Provides the highest level of customer service and accommodates any special needs of passengers (e.g., physically challenged).
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to facilitate clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during all flight phases, including normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides exceptional service to aircraft owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Proactively investigates and resolves service deviations.
- Collaborates effectively with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure consistent service delivery for owners and passengers. Resolves conflict and challenges in a professional and acceptable manner.
Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains currency in all regulatory and company-required training and experience requirements.
- Adheres to the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.
Certifications and Licenses:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
Years of Experience:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- FAA Type rating in the Challenger 300/350 platform is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
