Pilot in Command - Challenger 300 - Dallas, TX
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks highly qualified Pilot in Command candidates for a Challenger 300 aircraft based in Dallas, TX (KDAL). While the aircraft will occasionally participate in P135 retail charter operations, the majority of flight time will be dedicated to private owner travel.

Role and Responsibilities:
As Pilot in Command, you will assume ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. This includes:
Safe Flight Operations:
- Ensuring crewing and trip assignments adhere to company and regulatory requirements.
- Completing flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks.
- Leading required briefings and mitigating operational risks using the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology.
- Adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with EJM personnel.
- Acting as the Grounds and In-Flight Security Coordinator, as defined by company policy.
- Conducting comprehensive pre-flight inspections, recording aircraft discrepancies, and ensuring the aircraft is mission-ready.
- Monitoring and ensuring all ground servicing items (fueling, oil, oxygen) are handled according to SOPs.
- Delivering passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation.
- Providing exceptional customer service, addressing special needs, and ensuring a comfortable travel experience for passengers.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during all flight phases.
Exceptional Service Delivery:
- Providing top-tier service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Proactively investigating and resolving any service deviations.
- Collaborating with crew members and EJM internal partners to deliver a consistent service experience.
- Resolving conflicts and challenges professionally and effectively.
Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintaining regulatory and company-required training and currency of experience.
- Adhering to the EJM Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting safety concerns or non-compliance through the appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is essential.
- FAA Type Rating in the Challenger 300 is highly preferred.
- International experience is highly preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2,000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
