Job Summary

The First Officer plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of the Caravan C-208 aircraft. This exempt position reports to the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations, with current base locations in Honolulu (HNL) and Kahului (OGG). The company's route structure allows most pilots to return home daily, offering flexibility in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• FAA Commercial Pilot License with Airplane Single Engine Land (ASEL)
• Current Instrument Rating
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a pilot
• 500 hours minimum flight time, including:
  • 100 hours cross-country
  • 25 hours night cross-country
  • 50 hours turbine or 75 hours instrument time
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator Permit
• Valid Driver’s License and Passport
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language
• FAA Record in good standing
• Maintenance of a well-groomed appearance, positive attitude, and professional customer interactions.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness and availability to work flexible and variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• A $20,100 training contract is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Package:

• Guaranteed 65 Block Hours per month (effective from the first day of training).
• Initial Training Pay: $12 per block hour during ground school for pilots under 600 hours.
• Line Release Pay:
  • Pilots under 600 hours: $15 per block hour.
  • Pilots with 600-900 hours: $18 per block hour.
  • Pilots with over 900 hours: $21 per block hour.
• Per Diem: $45 flat rate for overnights away from the assigned base upon release to line.
• Travel and hotel accommodations provided during training.
• CASS Participant.

Note: Pilots with less than 500 hours are encouraged to explore the internal Pathway Program posting.
