The Opportunity
Established in 1978, Martinaire Aviation is a Part 135 air carrier headquartered in Dallas, TX. We specialize in scheduled and ad-hoc cargo operations across the United States utilizing a fleet of Cessna Grand Caravans, C208B, in support of feeder contracts. We are actively seeking passionate and skilled pilots to join our team in the DFW/ADS area.

Responsibilities:
- Execute safe and precise aircraft maneuvers throughout all flight phases.
- Diligently monitor flight conditions, including weather and cargo safety.
- Make informed go/no-go decisions and verify fuel requirements.
- Determine alternate destinations when necessary.
- Maintain unwavering command in unexpected situations.
- Ensure clear and timely communication with stations, towers, flight controllers, and dispatchers.
- File all required FAA reports and report any aircraft anomalies.
- Accurately record flight hours and adhere to FAA rest requirements and company directives.
- Supervise flight-related personnel in coordination with other supervisors.
- Stay abreast of applicable regulations and procedures regarding aircraft operation.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company policies, procedures, manuals, and protocols.
- Serve as a positive and communicative leader representing Martinaire Aviation.
- Review company bulletins, emails, and voicemails daily.
- Submit all transmittals, expense reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Exemplify ethical behavior, contribute to a professional work environment, and support the company mission.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Required Qualifications:
- Commercial Pilot License with Single Engine Land (SEL) and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) ratings
- 1200 hours Total Time
- 800 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
- 500 hours Cross-Country
- 100 hours Night flying
- 75 hours Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), with 50 hours actual
- Current and Proficient in IFR operations
- Second Class Medical Certificate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Adherence to the company's FAA/DOT required Drug and Alcohol Program
Working Conditions:
- This position involves working outdoors and within an aircraft, requiring exposure to various weather conditions.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, bending, and stooping for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong manual dexterity, clear speech, and excellent vision and hearing are essential.
- Work may be required in multiple locations.
- Martinaire Aviation provides accommodation at layover stations and company crew cars for transportation between flights.
