The Ministry of Natural Resources, Provincial Services Division - Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services, invites applications for three permanent, full-time Twin Otter Pilot positions based in Garson and Timmins, Ontario. Compensation and Benefits:

The annual salary range is $85,060.80 - $103,670.96*, based on the OPSEU Collective Agreement. (*Indicates salary as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement.) Responsibilities:

The Pilot-in-Command will perform flight duties and related tasks operating small multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft under both visual and instrument flight rules (VFR/IFR). This will involve scheduled rotations from a home base and remote operating facilities across northern Ontario. Responsibilities include:

• Piloting and aircraft operation during all phases of flight.
• Assisting clients with flight planning.
• Ensuring safe and efficient aircraft operation.
• Travel, potentially for extended periods, away from the home base.
• Overtime work and operation in adverse conditions.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess the following mandatory qualifications:

• A valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) endorsed for single and multi-engine land and sea fixed-wing aircraft.
• A Group 1 Instrument Rating.
• A valid Category 1 Medical Certificate.
• A valid Restricted Radio Telephone Operator's Certificate.
• Successful completion of Canadian and U.S. Transport Agency Security Screening.
• A valid passport, or the ability to obtain one.
• A minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, including 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command in float-equipped aircraft.
• Ability to travel outside of the province.
