Pilot - Air Ambulance Services
PAL Aerospace, in partnership with Air Borealis and Medavie Health NL, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot to join their integrated ambulance services team for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. With a distinguished history of over 50 years in special missions aviation and a global presence spanning more than 60 countries, PAL Aerospace is dedicated to providing exceptional airborne solutions that address complex security, safety, economic, and environmental challenges. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that strives to make the world a safer and more sustainable place. PAL Aerospace is proud to deliver critical Air Ambulance services, utilizing the King Air 350 platform and managing all aspects of operations, including crew selection, maintenance, and procedure development, to ensure aircraft and pilots are consistently available when needed.
Pilot Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2000 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 500 hours multi-engine Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
- Possession of a valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot's License.
- Possession of a valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating.
- Possession of a valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Possession of a current passport at the time of hire.
- Ability to travel without restrictions to the United States.
- Completion of a high school diploma.
- Meeting the Transport Canada English proficiency standard.
- Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to changing shift times due to operational and unforeseen circumstances.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proven effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
