Lauda Europe Cadet Pilot Programme - A320 Type Rating

Lauda Europe, a part of the Ryanair Group, is recruiting Cadet Pilots for a bonded A320 Type Rating program. This opportunity supports the airline's growth and offers successful candidates the chance to fly the A320. Base opportunities are available in London Stansted (STN), Palma, Vienna, Zagreb, and Zadar.

About the Role

The Lauda Europe Cadet Pilot Programme provides world-class A320 training with industry-leading Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Cadets will receive an allowance from the commencement of base training. A reduced upfront fee of €10,000 is required, with a 3-year reducing €20,000 bond repaid through monthly installments. The final €5,000 of the bond will be waived for pilots employed by Lauda Europe for a minimum of three years post-rostered appointment.

Requirements

• Hold unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and/or UK.
• Must be aged 65 or under.
• Hold a valid EASA (CPL) Frozen ATPL (Air Transport Pilots License). UK CAA licences are not accepted.
• Hold a valid EU (Part-MED) issued Class 1 medical certificate.
• Hold a valid multi-engine instrument rating (MEIR).
• Hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (AUPRT) in accordance with FCL.745.A.
• Hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of multi-crew co-operation (MCC) in accordance with AMC1 FCL.735.A.
• Applicants holding a CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION OF APS MCC-TRAINING in accordance with AMC2 FCL.735.A will be given preference.
• Must have a flight school report, written in English, signed by the Flight School's Head of Training (HOT). This report must include all ATPL results, CPL & MEIR series passes, and performance information.
• Modular course graduates require 100 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC), or 70 hours as PIC if completed during integrated flying training.
• Minimum English Language Proficiency Level: Operational Level (Level 4), including written proficiency.

Assessment and Selection

The selection process includes an online pre-assessment test. Shortlisted candidates will undergo further assessment, which may take place in Dublin or other training centres. The assessment day includes an introduction, pre-simulator briefing, company presentation, a simulator assessment in a B737-800 FTD (45 minutes as PF and PNF), an English language test, a technical assessment, and a personnel interview. Successful candidates will be offered a place on a type-rating course.
