Pilot-in-Command: Aerial Operations Specialist
A dynamic aviation organization is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pilot-in-Command to contribute to its specialized aerial work and survey missions. This challenging role demands an aviator with an unwavering commitment to safety, precision, and operational excellence within diverse and often demanding flight environments.
Core Qualifications and Experience:
- Possesses a valid Canadian Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with a current Category 1 Medical Certificate.
- Accumulation of a minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) flight time.
- A minimum of 100 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on multi-engine aircraft; this requirement may be adjusted for candidates demonstrating significant aerial survey experience.
- Demonstrates the capability to successfully complete a Group 1 Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC).
- Exhibits strong proficiency in the interpretation of Graphical Forecasts for Aviation (GFAs) and other critical aviation weather products.
Highly Desired Attributes:
- Previous experience in aerial survey or general aerial work operations is considered a significant advantage.
- Mountain flying experience, particularly within British Columbia (BC), is viewed as a strong asset for this role.
